Reef Gliders, Roatan
We spent 2 weeks diving with Reef Gliders. We did 26 dives with them including 2 night dives. On arrival they were ready and waiting for us, they gave us a good intro to how the shop operated and what to expect. All of the support staff and dive crew were friendly and more than willing to chat with us. They have lockers with locks that you can keep personal items locked up in. Tables for you to sit at and have a complimentary coffee at in-between dives. There is a restaurant in there space as well and more than once we had super fresh french fries in-between dives. When you are done diving for the day there is also a bar on site, it appears that Tequila shots are available for happy hour, very inexpensive. They also have Reef Gliders swag available for purchase, and other dive related gear. They kept our dive group to the 4 of us except for when we requested for 2 friends to join us for a few dives. We did most of our diving with Jasser (Jazz) as our DM. He was very open to doing the dives they way that it suited us best while making sure that we saw all that we could while we were diving. He was awesome at pointing out the small stuff. While leading the dives Jazz would occasionally hunt for lionfish, and when he speared them would save them for us to take home and grill on the BBQ. We also had Juan as a DM for a few dives and when our group was a bit larger he was the second DM. He was great to dive with as well. The night dives were done very well going in at sunset, doing a 30 minute or so dive and ten staying still and doing a lights out for 15 minutes in order to see the String of Pearls. We had GG as DM on one night dive and the dive site worked awesome, Logan ang Christian also assisted us and I would recommend them all. ... Show More May. 3, 2026
