Sea Sports Belize, Belize City

I have dived a total of 6 dives over 3 days with the team of Sea Sports Belize. The shop is located in the eastern part of Belize City and can easily be reached by foot from the main hotels and the cruise ship terminal. Booking the dives was quite straightforward: All coordination was done via email and payment was made in advance by credit card authorization, but bank transfers are available was well. Although I used my own equipment, the rental gear (mainly Aqualung & Scubapro) appeared to be in good shape, Nitrox (~31-33%) was available on request. The boat ride usually takes around 30 minutes to get to the Barrier Reef. Briefings are generally done at the dive sites, in rougher conditions the boat will briefly anchor in a shallower area, so everybody can suit up more comfortably. All dives are back-roll entries, there's a ring buoy and a 5m/15ft marker for the safety stop. Both captain Junior and divemaster José were really friendly and helped taking on/off the dive gear. The surface intervall is usually 50 minutes and the crew will provide sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks. I had some very enjoyable dives with a knowledgable and professional crew....
