Volunteer Divers for Cleaner Lakes and Oceans

Henry Wang and a group of volunteer divers are on a mission to clean up lakes and oceans. During a dive this past December, they braved the frigid 5°C (41°F) waters of Sasamat Lake, British Columbia and collected over 65kg (143lb) of trash.

Henry founded Divers for Cleaner Lakes and Oceans with Jonathan Martin in 2013 and have since removed thousands of pounds of garbage from British Columbia lakes.

The organization aims to work on making a positive impact on both lakes and local oceans by continuing to perform cleanup dives regularly going into the future.

👏Thank you Henry, Jonathan, and the entire Divers for Cleaner Lakes and Oceans group for your efforts!
