Ex navy guy here, so any chance to dive on a wreck is an awesome day! Easy to explore the whole wreck in the dive and then visit the shallows on the way back.

There is lots of marine life around the wreck, we saw some big groupers and a small school of snappers. After you explore the wreck, the surrounding reef is worth checking out.

El Aguila means "The Eagle" and is right off the coast. I guess a hurricane smashed this wreck pretty good a few years back and its now broken into 3 main parts.
There is good coral growth on the wreck and parts you can swim through and explore. There were other groups diving the wreck at the same time as us.... Show More
