This was a new site for us. Take the road just East of the restaurant by the dam and follow it South until you get to a small group of trees. There is a nice grassy area to park on before a short drop to the beach. Entry into the water is very smooth and gradual. The beach is predominantly sandy with some small gravel. In the lake there is a line running North to south at about 20' depth (depending on lake level). At the North end is an oval course of hoops to swim through. Where the course starts is a line going east and deeper. Visibility was 3', 5' if your buddy had a flashlight. We saw several crawfish in mating colors. Water was 14C but we only went to about 22'. We were wearing 10-14mm wetsuits, boots, gloves and hoods and were warm enough for 35 min dive.... Show More

Easy entry into the water from the beach. The visibility was only about 5' so we couldn't see much. I recommend bringing a dive light and compass. Water temp was 57F.
