"Kauai Dive Shop"

Reviewed Mar. 27, 2018

We rented tanks and weights from Seasport, they had a great rate for them. The shop had lots of swag and dive related items. The tanks were in good shape. The rest of the equipment also looked to be in good shape as well. Water temp in Mar. was 74F so think about renting a wet suit they looked almost new.
We are shore divers and asked about info, it appeared only one site was recommended and that seemed odd. We also asked a number of other shops and got the same answer. They must have some law or rule on the Kauai I am unaware of, because there are a few good and safe shore dive sites. You just have to use common sense. On that note I have never seen so many warning signs on beaches about currents, tides and wildlife.
We did check out boat dives with Seasport, the rate was the same as the other companies and the boat was good, it just carried to many divers for my liking.
The staff at the shop seemed friendly and knowledgeable otherwise.
If you are shore diving this is the shop to get tanks from and I would go there again as well.

"Seasport Tank Rentals"

Reviewed Mar. 24, 2018

We rented tanks and weights here for a good deal. Was good for exchanging tanks each day.
Didn't do any boat dives with the company so can't speak to that.
Would rent tanks here again.

"Good deal for tank rental"

Reviewed Mar. 16, 2018

Seasport seemed to have the best offer for tank rental on the island. $40 USD gets you 1 tank for the week and allowed for 1 refill per day. Weights for a week is $25. I also rented a wetsuit that was in pretty good shape. The shop staff are friendly but weren’t very helpful when we asked about shore diving on the island.... Show More
