Gave this site a chance early in the morning before the beach got too crowded. Flounder on the way out. Tried to get past the surf but the corral kept us shallow and there was surf so we ended up turning back early. Better snorkel spot than dive spot. Might be okay if the surf was down. This was a very shallow shore dive. The entry and exit are beginner level , just make sure to enter and exit along the sandy spots, as there is quite a bit of rocks along the shore you need to avoid. The day I dove this area the conditions were not ideal causing the visibility to be poor, average visibility was around 6 ft. We ended up getting tossed around by some waves and had to abort the dive. The max depth I got to was 9 ft, averaging around 6 ft. We did spot a peacock flounder at the beginning which was pretty cool.
To be able to dive this area you would need perfect diving conditions, as well it would be best to go first thing in the morning as this is a popular beach for tourists and gets quite busy making entry and exit more difficult. ... Show More

We snorkeled this spot and found lots of marine life and had decent visibility. When attempting to dive it became challenging since the water stays very shallow by the surf break. We got tossed around a bit by the waves and visibility became challenging. I would recommend only diving this site on a calm day. I’d also advise to go early since this beach is very popular and gets busy by mid-morning.... Show More
