This is one of Kauai’s most popular and famous dive sites. Because of this, don’t be surprized to see other boats at the site and other divers in the water. The Caverns are spacious and allow for easy access and navigation. Keep a look out for sleeping turtles and frog fish as you swim through the caverns. If you’re in Kauai, this is a site not to miss!... Show More

Great for first time divers trying swim throughs. Lots of room to maneuver, watch for turtles descending beside you as they look for a place to nap! Max depth 61 feet, average 40 feet visibility was 20+ feet, experienced a small amount of surge. Water was 75 degree F, wore double rash guard, others in the group wore wet suites. Loads of green turtles, Peacock grouper, schools of Blue Stripped Snapper, Moorish Idol, Bandit Butterfly, and my new favorite the Spotted Boxfish. ... Show More

Great site! Fun swim throughs. Tends to be a busy spot - one of the more popular dive spots on the island. Lots of turtles hiding out in the caverns. Bandit butterfly, frog fish(!!!), unicorn, free swimming eels, starfish, rock mover, imperial nudibranch, bird wrasse, yellowtail coris.
Max 60 ft, Ave 40 ft. 72 f.... Show More

This boat dive was a great experience. I would recommend this dive if you are visiting Kauai. I really enjoyed swimming through the caverns, there was a ton of different marine life to look at throughout the dive. Luckily our group was the only dive group at the site during our dive, as it gave us more space to dive in the caverns. I can imagine it would get tight and chaotic with other groups navigating around at the same time. Some of the more interesting things I saw was several Green Sea Turtles sleeping under coral, a couple different eels - 1 free swimming Moray Eel, a Frog fish and a Sergeant Major egg patch . My max depth on this dive was 53 ft, averaging around 35 ft, Water temperature was 75 F. Visibility was around 40 ft. ... Show More

This is a often done dive on Kauai. We got lucky and we were the only boat there. The caverns are from 45 to 75 feet deep. My max depth was 54 feet but I made some choices that kept me higher in the water. The caverns are an easy swim through. We had 7 divers so it was a long chain, but the swim throughs were not to bad even for the last diver. The coral is not as abundant as some of the other sites, probably due to the amount of divers. Water temp 74 F, visibilty was fairly good. Saw eels, banded angelfish, five stripe snapper, and a large free swimming green moray. We also saw a frogfish and some nudibranch. ... Show More
